Château Valmont Collection XXII Vin de France 2022

XXII is a truly exceptional UFO cuvée stemming from the estate, boasting a one-of-a-kind blend of 22 grape varieties. Remarkably, each row of vines is dedicated to a distinct grape variety, uniting the diverse essence of the 22 grapes from the Corbières appellation. This delicately hued, dry wine exhibits a refined structure and elegance. Upon sipping, it presents itself as a white wine, delivering a harmonious balance. Hand-harvested grapes vary in ripeness, ensuring a nuanced flavor profile determined by the precise harvest date. After handpicking, the grapes undergo gentle pneumatic pressing, yielding a salmon color from the natural pigments within certain grape varieties. Subsequently, maceration occurs in the press, and the wine is crafted with native yeasts, preserving its purity without filtration.
