GOOD NEWS, BAD NEWS! The good news is that we have completed the move to our new location, 2433 Bartlett, and have been duly licensed at that location. The bad news is that the wines we were expecting to arrive in late April/early May are still on their way due to a strike by French dockworkers. This includes most of our 2007 rose' wines, our Astros, Canorgue and Faverot AOC wines, our Vouvrays and some other light, summer-type wines. The first wines are expected here the week before Memorial Day, the others about two weeks later. Like most who move, we are still living out of boxes to a degree. But if you pass by and notice our sign, stop in and see the new digs. We still have a few bottles of wine hanging around the place, too. Watch your email inbox for announcements of tastings as soon as we get our first shipment! PHYLLIS & TIM FRENCH COUNTRY WINES is a winery business introducing fairly priced, traditionally crafted French wines to new and existing wine drinkers in Houston, Texas. Overheads are kept to a minimum so that we may bring to market our wines and the products of smaller French vineyards, many of whose wines have never been imported either to Texas or to the United States.
