Practically disappeared from the Alsatian vineyard, the Chasselas vines, with white or red grapes, are reborn, to give a balanced wine.
Terroir: This Chasselas comes from a sandy-granite soil. The vines are located in the plain and mid-hills.
Pairings: The Chasselas goes very well with a cold starter, a seafood platter, a country meal or a wine pie. Perfect with a Cheese board and especially a nice raclette.
Tasting notes: Pleasant, fruity and refined wine. Notes of white flowers, peony and gigner spices. This dry wine has a nice minerality on the palate with a little honeysuckel, blackcurrant and citrus aromas.
