70% Mourvèdre and 30% Grenache

Clément Minne and Pauline Giraud started this winery by buying 4 hectares of vine in 2010 with their own money. Today the vineyard is 17 hectares of vines, with about 1/4 of them in Bandol Appelation. Bandol’s king varietal is Mourvèdre- a very tannic grape that’s very hard to ripen, but the area bathes it with plenty of sunshine. This Bandol is vinified only from old vines in a single parcel: 70% Mourvèdre and 30% Grenache. It is matured a full 18 months is large oak barrels. Limited production - 1200 bottles annually. Food pairing will include Cowboy Ribeye, venison, and other rich red meats.
